Welcome to Pine Lake Event Center, located at 3645 Overton Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691. By using our services or booking our venue, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. 1. Booking and Payment

1.1. Reservation Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed once a signed contract and the required deposit are received.
1.2. Payment Schedule: Full payment must be made according to the terms outlined in your event contract. Late payments may result in cancellation of your reservation.
1.3. Refund Policy: Deposits and payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your contract.

2. Use of the Venue

2.1. Permitted Activities: Pine Lake Event Center may be used only for the activities specified in the booking agreement (e.g., parties, weddings, corporate events).
2.2. Prohibited Activities: Activities deemed illegal, dangerous, or disruptive to the property or surrounding areas are strictly prohibited.
2.3. Event Timing: All events must adhere to the agreed-upon start and end times. Additional fees may apply for overtime use.

3. Liability and Damages

3.1. Damage Responsibility: The event host is responsible for any damage to the property, fixtures, or equipment caused by their guests, vendors, or participants.
3.2. Indemnification: Pine Lake Event Center is not liable for personal injury, property loss, or damages incurred during the event. The host assumes all liability for their guests and activities.
3.3. Insurance Requirements: Certain events may require proof of liability insurance. This will be outlined in your event contract if applicable.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1. Cancellations by the Host: Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds or rescheduling options will depend on the terms of your contract.
4.2. Cancellations by Pine Lake Event Center: The venue reserves the right to cancel bookings in cases of emergencies, safety concerns, or breach of these terms and conditions. In such cases, a full refund of payments will be provided.

5. Vendor Policies

5.1. Approved Vendors: The use of third-party vendors (e.g., caterers, photographers) must comply with Pine Lake Event Center’s policies.
5.2. Setup and Cleanup: Vendors are responsible for timely setup and cleanup of their equipment. All vendor materials must be removed from the venue premises at the end of the event.

6. Venue Rules

6.1. Alcohol and Catering: Pine Lake Event Center does not provide food or alcohol. However, guests may work with approved caterers and licensed bartenders.
6.2. Smoking and Open Flames: Smoking is prohibited indoors. Open flames, including candles, must be pre-approved by venue management.
6.3. Noise Restrictions: Events must adhere to local noise ordinances to avoid disruption to the surrounding community.

7. Photography and Promotion

7.1. Event Photography: Pine Lake Event Center reserves the right to photograph events for marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing by the host.
7.2. Consent to Use: By hosting your event at Pine Lake Event Center, you grant permission to use event-related photos or videos for promotional purposes.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1. Force Majeure: Pine Lake Event Center is not responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or power outages.
8.2. Changes to Terms: These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time. The most current version will be available on our website.
